Hyundai got me thinking???

All I know is they are not as close as Ford and Mazda are and are distant enough that most people don't know they are still connected if they even still are after Ford let them put Hyundai badges on a car in the 1960's.

It was more than a rebadge, That's what Mazda did.

Personally I have never cared about Hyundai to really follow what they do.

:icon_confused:Then why would you even attempt an answer??

When you talk about copycat I think of something more like the old Toyota Celica:

1973 Celica

1970 Mustang:

That's not a copycat, Because of aerodynamics, the two completely different cars look a like.:icon_rofl:
Now where did I hear that before???
Beside the mirrors are in completely different places, Just because it had four tires and a windshield don't mean they copied ford.:icon_hornsup:

Just kidding guys, havin fun, don't get all serious on me.

You forgot that thee Mustang is a 5-lug wheel, the Toyota is a 4-lug.

Considering that I have one of each and am trying to find the easiest/cheapest way to convert both to 5-lug, I know. There were also eras where they were all 5-lug, and IIRC the 69-79 cars were one of them.

Not really familiar with the 69-73's, don't see many 6cyl versions of those cars.

I don't think the Mustang II's were five lug though.

Four lug mustangs that got the Saleen treatment were converted to 5 lug. So get a Saleen and use the those and then sell the Saleen to offset cost:icon_twisted:

I know a yard with a bunch of gen-1 Rangers and SN95 Mustangs. That takes care of the Fox.
