Hydrogen

Here are some pics of my setup. Please excuse the image quality I was using my cell phone.

Hope this helps you visualize what I've done. I'm using stainless plates with plastic nuts and bolts now. I added about a half tsp of baking soda and holy hell does that ever make the gas go! It was like watching champagne fizz after someone shook the bottle.

i figured ud like that better LOL

I saw an HHO system today that will blow away anything I've seen prior to this. The heart of the system is a 1200W inverter that has a bridge rectifier on the output side that supplies 115VDC! This guy had it all set up with a recirculating pump and a bubbler for a fishtank to drive the HHO up out of the water. With the inverter, the system was drawing 8 amps. It was definitely a bulkier setup than mine but it really worked well. I made a deal with him and now I'm building cores for him and he's giving me some electronic parts and a filtration system. So it looks like I'll be changing a few things now. Ahhh... the neverending project!

So the inverter was drawing 8 amps at around 12 volts? The gives you just under 100W to play with before you take into account the inefficiencies of the inverter. You really think you're going to produce enough fuel to drive the car with that 100W? This whole setup is a scam for people who don't understand the basic laws of physics. I also have been getting this nagging feeling that there are a lot of people who have an inability to measure both current and voltage at the same time. In a world with digital multimeters that take all thought out of that measurment, I'm baffled.

The idea is that a synergy goes on between the hydrogen and gasoline. Allowing the gas to burn for efficiently. Like adding acetone to the gas.
Not that you can defy physics.

Not that you can defy physics.

The term is "catalysis," and it is EMINENTLY demonstratable in the lab under actual controlled conditions if it really exists.

That no one seems able to do that strongly suggests, so to speak, flaming BS.

In a nutshell, if you ever did succeed in increasing the efficiency of burn with the same fuel, there is simply no way to avoid increasing cylinder temperatures. By 50% from the intake charge temperature, from some of the absurd mileage claims. There are a number of easy ways to do this, all of which lead to the same problems. The simplest is just advancing the ignition timing to its mechanically optimal point.

The problem one gets from increasing cylinder temperatures is that the gasoline detonates, which results in a net loss and mechanical damage.

It sure would help things if people actually understood some of the physics they are attempting to modify. This simply cannot work as advertised. It IS like acetone in that regard. Or like magnets on the fuel line.

Most mileage modification claims are complete bullpoop, and have been for decades. You can get a nice long list from EPA if you look.

+1. I will GLADLY eat something unplesant if you can prove that statement wrong... But I bet you can't. I encourage everyone to Try stuff like this as long as it doesn't cost a bunch or make some shyster a lot of money. Just don't expect miracles. There aren't any.
