I've been doing a lot of research on hydrogen assist systems on diesels and have seen a little bit on gas motors. Most gas motors are carbed or OBD controlled. I was wondering if anyone has read, seen, or heard about hydro-assist systems in use on gas motors.

I'm going to build my own cell and try it on my '90 Ranger. It's a 2wd with a 4L and an automatic and gets about 17mpg average. My hopes are to get into the mid to high twenties.

Let me know.

pretty sure he's talking about hydrogen.....

anyways, i have an idea for a hho gas generator. if you wanna know more, pm me

the term he would be lookin for is hydrogen injection systems, i have seen them and they do work, however i do believe they are illegal in most states....

just a FYI, in most states the kit's are illegal, the dealers can provide u with a list stating such, ur truck will not pass inspection with it installed

why would you want it anyway? the cost of the hydrogen would be more than you would get back in economy/performance gains if there are any. the game with getting more power out of an engine is getting more air in.

for improved economy, start with a tune up, tire pressure check, and all round fluids change.

We don't have emissions checks here. I've driven my Mustang for years with no EGR or Cats for 6 years. The hydrogen is made on the fly through electrolysis, it costs nothing, aside from the initial build price.

I just love that claim....

It costs EXACTLY THE SAME energy to make the hydrogen as you get by burning it. And the claims of catalysis from hydrogen are more than a bit extraordinary.

So, what does happen to gasoline when you hydrogenate it? The conventional answer for other liquid hydrocarbons and organic acids is that it makes it congeal. Does it make it into a trans fat?

I'd pat you on the back, but it looks like you've already taken care of that.... ass.

Hey dont call him an ass just because YOU GOT SERVED!!!!
had to do it

Listen here son. I'm an adult that would rather have an adult conversation without attitudes or comments from people that have no idea what they're talking about. If you read, I asked for information, not attempted slams from teenagers like Queen Latifa above.
