I have friend that has an older B2000 truck that is having clutch problems.
We may have added to them.:shok:

The clutch would stay on the bottom and would not come up. I looked in the resevoir and the oil was real gummy. We took the hydraulic line loose at the master cylinder and pushed the clutch pedal a couple of times. It shot some fluid out and then the pedal hit the floor and wouldn't pump anymore. I am wondering if we shot some spring out or something or what we can do to fix it.

Thanks for any help

With the clutch pedal the way it was the truck driveable? May need a new master cylinder. and flush the system with clean brake fluid.

No you couldn't change gears.

hmmmmm, theres not a spring, just make sure you didn't lose the little oring inside the mastercylinder on the firewall. i would open the the bleeder valve on the trans and pump clean fluid through it. that thing is the worst trans in the world to bleed by the way. i think iv got it down to a science now if yall still are havin problems.
