hydraulic clutch do's and don'ts

with the hydraulic clutches in rangers is there anything you shouldn't do with them as compared to a cable clutch system? such as holding the clutch in for extended periods of time etc...

also what is there to worry about with driving with hubs locked in but in 2wd? just in winter, in all other months they're free
 
I've never ran into issues holding the clutch in for long periods of time. You'll be fine driving with the hubs locked as long as you're not locked up front. If you are it's not too bad, just takes some getting used to.
 
I hold it in because of the failing slave cylinder. Avoids having to fight it and look like an idiot at a red light when it won't go in gear. When my seat is properly adjusted my leg doesn't really get tired.
