HVAC Controls Interchangeability Question.

Okay i have a question. I have a Crown Vic Electronic HVAC Control unit. I'm wondering if it will work in my 06 Sport. Its out of my 04 CV Sport.

It might...but measure it, check the wiring connector to make sure they are the same type...sometimes they are simply used throughout various models...

I know the 92 Ranger and the 88 Ranger were not interchangeable, but the 88 and 96 are the same size with different wire connectors...something I'm currently working on matching and mixing parts...so you really have to take it apart to check...maybe go to the junkyard and take similar vehicles apart before you try doing it on your own...

They are about the same size. My concern is the electronic comparability. My biggest concern is royally dicking my truck up from trying to put in head controls in.

Doesn't that require a bit of fuel in the heater core?
