Hurst Shifter in a 2007???

Sorry if this is a repeat, I searched and couldn't find this anywhere.

The Hurst shifter kit, part # 391-5020 states it fits 1988-2003 Rangers, Hurst has now updated that to up to 2005 Rangers. I have a 2007 Ranger Sport 3.0L V6, 5-speed.

Has anyone installed this kit on a 2006-2010 Ranger?? I don't know of any reason it wouldn't work. The shifter assembly on a 2005 is the same as a 2007 to my knowledge. Is the transmission different than a 2005?

Any help would be very appreciated! I really want the shifter but I don't want to be stuck with a shifter I can't use and Hurst couldn't tell me if it would work.

Sweet, that's what I wanted to hear! Have you installed one on a '06 or newer?
