hub conversion!!!

I have a 1999 and vaccum locks suck!!! so i rigged them up where i can just push in the locking thing... it works like a ball point pin.. but i think this works....

anyways... im wanting something that i know for sure locks the 4wd!

can i replace the factory vaccums with a manual one???

if so, What will fit??

and what would be the steps to doing this conversion??

Yes, you can use AVM manual hubs (sometimes found under the rugged ridge name)

so they will be called "rugged ridge"... kinda like warn or a brand name???

also... will they just go on?? how do you do this?? thats what im confused on....

could i just get a set of locking hubs off of an explorer or ranger?? or do i have to go ahead and order a set since i have a 1999 with the vaccum hubs??

The hubs on his 99 are completely differnt than an 83-97 ranger
