Been lurking around for a couple years and finally thought I would introduce myself and the ol beater. 1987 XLT 2.9L 5-speed that had 113k when I bought it! Has been a fun little truck and I have plenty of plans for fun in the future! I’ve lifted it 2 inches, replaced the whole cooling system, done a little bit of wiring, and repainted it. I’ll throw in some pictures from over the last couple years. Happy to be around such a knowledgeable group.
First day in the driveway, gave it a wash along with my old ‘72 mustang. Truck’s clear coat was failing on the hood and fenders but it looked good wet!
so that’s the last few years summarized! Love this old thing and can’t wait to do some more down the road. Thanks for all your support so far!
