Hey, from Rapid City, SD.
I had a 91 explorer XLT 4dr with the 5spd and a 4.0 that was bored .020 and ported and polished heads. Had a 3 inch body lift, 2in skyjacker coils and Chevy add a leafs in the rear. With 32" tires on it, Sadly I sold the truck a couple years ago.
Originally bought it for 100 bucks with a blown 5spd, put in a new rebuilt trans, then lifted it, and went through a pond, hydro locked the engine and bent a rod. That's when I bored it, and ported and polished the new heads. yup both of the old heads were cracked. haha. I
But good news, I just picked up a 94 explorer 4dr xlt with the 4.0 and the A4LD auto trans. Picked her up for 600 bucks, haha. It's pretty nice, was very dirty when I got it, but has new tires. Overall it's pretty decent, I have been working on her all weekend. And have been trolling the forum all weekend looking for stuff pertaining to my exploder.
So far, I really like it here on this forum.
