Hey there all, I'm Benjamin, but you can call me Ben. I am a first time Ranger owner, but long time admirer. I recently got a 1988 Ranger XLT Super Cab 4x4 with a 2.9L and a 5 spd. It needs some work so I'm sure I'll be asking many questions and maybe answering a few too. Now, can somebody on here point me to the showroom? LOL JK.

Hey guys, thanks for the warm welcome. My truck is a bit of a piece, but it runs great. As you can tell by the pics, I've already started customizing it. lol. Comments welcome.

Yeah, I don't care for the interior being red. I'm eventually gonna convert it to black and gray, to match the exterior. Also, I still havent figured out a name for it.

My plans for it are:

Fix the rust (started by previous owner)
More aggressive tires
Muffler delete (DONE)
Custom drop center rear bumper
Brush guard and roll bar with KC lights
CD player
Lund lighted visor or cab clearance lights (havent decided which yet)
Tinted windows
Hop up the little 2.9.

Would love to drop in a V8 but probably wont.

For all you close...making a Cliffs Insane Terrain run on Saturday the 12th. Some good trails up there for the newbies and some metal crinkers for the ones who don't mind some body damage. Let's get some RBV up there and have some fun.
