I love these rangersm,easy to work on,cheap parts,lots of them in junk yards.
I used to have a towing and auto repair business for 30 yrs,now just tow away unwanted vehicles,,'
have had a 83 2.3 auto ranger for 8 yrs,great lil truck,always started in 40 below to boost the rest of my stuff.
sold it last fall after wife sold all our small livestock,we only used it to haul goats and sheep to auction sale.
I put a wanted ranger ad needing work in local papers,
ended with 5,
sold the 3 4 wheel drives to fix the 2 I still have .,dont like 4x4s,get me in trouble.
anyway,have a 97 Reg cab long box that was rolled in snow bank,,had no insurance so its not flagged,dont need salvage inspection..banged out the roof good enough for new windsheild and plexiglass rear window.
like to find a convertible top Kit,,anyone know where to get one???
