How would you paint these rims?


go to like an advance auto type store and they have different color wheel coating, works pretty good. you could also look into powdercoating them.
 
sanding the wheels with perhaps 400-600 grit sandpaper should help. also, while getting the paint, get some "adhesion promoter" that will help the paint stick to the aluminum. i'd also get some clear coat spray and give them several clear coats for added protection after the black is on the way you like it. i think there was a thread in the Exterior section of the "Styling and Electrical" forum here where someone did that and it came out really well.

I believe duplicolor makes a kit to do it
