how to unbead a tire??

Got a high lift jack?

You can put it under your bumper, and put the base on the tire sidewall to get them apart.

Take to the garage, this is one task that I gladly pay for.
I'd rather pull a transmission then use hand tools to mount a tire.

That is what a lot of people say around here, never personally done it myself.

I use a 2x12 have a spotter help you place it on tire close to rim take another vehicle and slowly drive up the 2x12 and it should pop off the bead pain in the but. But it works

Got a garage that is yours? Go to harbor freight and spend 50 bucks on their manual tire changer. Works great.

I'm going to have to check that out Thanks for info man probably easier than a pry bar and hammer

+1 on the tire changer from harbour freight.I've had mine for three years and it works great. I mounted mine to a big piece of plywood so I could move it.You will have to mount it to something so you can break the bead.

If you buy it, Be prepared to break the internal threaded "donut." You will know what I am talking about if you get it. I broke mine first thing and was about to get pissed. Then I thought about it, pulled out the JB Weld and things were great after that.

+1, got mine for christmas a couple years ago, mounted it to a 4'x4' pallet so i can move it around. it needs to be mounted to something to be able to use it! i can dismount a tire in a minute or two, takes just a little longer to remount them but its still worth it! pick up a couple of their tire irons (~$6) they come in handy for remounting tires.

How big of tire are you un-mounting? If you got a friend with the low pros you can have him drive up on the tire by the rim, they work way better then the soft sidewalled 33's you got.

I have a lot of tire friends and they told me they will never mount a tire by hand. Use the correct tools or you can be maimed or worse......
