how to tell lift size?

Nope, the extreme drop pitman arm only came with the 8" kits from Skyjacker. That is your typical run of the mill standard drop arm for 4-6" lifts.

Yep, that looks like the Skyjacker FA400 arm
You need the FA600 arm.

is it possible to run that one with a six inch and get away with it because i'm pretty sure the guy who had it on his truck had it on as a six inch based on the marks on the kit, the long coils and such. how long are the shocks for the six? the kit is not on yet so i can measure them and find out.

sorry to be a pain in the ass, i just wanna be sure of how i need to set up this lift before messing it up.

thanks guys! thats good info to know before i did this thing. Just wanna do it right the first time cause i have no experience with this sort of thing.

I run that arm with my '6' inch kit. I'm running 6" coils in the 4" holes in my drop brackets, but with my winch and bumper I'm sitting at about 4.5" of lift out of it. I don't have any abnormal tire wear or tire squealing, but I'm not getting a full 6" of lift out of it.
