how to shorten long bed?

can a long bed be shortened or a short bed put on or flat bed this sucker? 1986 ranger 4x4 long bed -

youll need to shorten the driveshaft too

That is 14ish inches taken out. What ever the last two rows of the bolt holes are is what I cut out. I ground the rivits and moved the rear cross member forward.

looks stock, honestly just thought you did a straight box swap, till i noticed the primer line
