I am trying to install the pipe between the cat and the muffler. there was a clamp on the muffler where the pipe goes into it. it does not look like it is welded. i cant get the pipe out...any ideas?

Heat the pipe up with a torch. This will expand the pipe and help it slide out. Other then that cut it

you can buy exhaust pipe separators for around 30 or 40 bucks or if your crafty you can make your own.
