how to remove flywheel/torque converter

i have the cab off my 86 an jus took out the a4ld an am puttin in a fm145 an i cant figure out how the torque converter and flywheel removes? theres no damn bolts anywhere and i wanna get this done tonight before dark. please help
 
To access the nuts on the torque converter you need to remove the starter motor. and turn the crank by hand slowly to line the nuts with the removed starter motor.

My A4LD had a small window at the bottom of the inspection plate to access the torque converter nuts. Starter will have to go regardless tho... Have fun w/ the flex plate bolts lol.

If you're also going to swap in that manual, get a shop manual! I'm a visual person, works better than hearing a description.

Remember you are gonna have to move the trans cross-member forward.
