well this is my first write up about something, so i apologize if it isnt that complete
this is for all the people that wants some sound from his intake system, and doesnt want to spend money on aftermarket intakes, or just dont want to remove the stock intake
this is an easy and cheap mod that will give some better intake sound, and some claims a bit more power or improved mpg
i took some pics, sorry if the quality isnt that great, they are cell phone pics, but with this u can get the idea here
this is the intake silencer, or baffle its located in the corner of your intake box, to remove it u have to remove first the rubber squared thing outside the box, to do this remove the 2 plastic pins holding it
here the rubber thing is almost out
the silencer is out, once the rubber is out, just pull the silencer to the outside
to improve the sound, add an K&N reusable filter, the cold air intake system of the truck is still working doing this, one of the issues when just using a MAF adaptor and conic filter, that the engine will suck hot air from the engine bay
hope it helps
