how to go faster cheap

roller coaster? air line ticket? bullet train?

it all depends on what you are running in your truck

The absolute cheapest way is to lose weight or to lighten the truck.

"Cheap" and "expensive" are relative terms. To me, really "cheap" is less than $50, when it comes to the truck. If you want to go faster without spending any money, just push harder on the gas.
What price range do you have in mind?

A local speed shop here had a sign posted above the parts counter, Speed = Dollars, How fast do You Want To Go?

How fast are you looking to go. I have yet to see a Ranger that couldn't hit it's speed limiter.

Didn't say should. Said could.

I have yet to see a Ranger that should hit it's speed limiter. I've had mine above 85 before. That was scary.

Sell ranger buy a "sports car"

My B2 at 85, is sketchy.

A guy I used to know had a BII (that I am still trying to sell for his parents) that was sketchy at 35.

Brinker and I fixed that though. Now it's good to at least 45. We didn't go much faster since it isn't registered or inspected or insured. You know, the basics.

My 87 rattles and shakes and just doesn't feel right by 80. 70 to 75 is a nice cruise on the open highway, but I take a long time to get it up there. I haven't actually taken it past 70 since I put the 4.0 in.

My BII just doesn't do 85. It barely does 65. But that's the driver, he won't put his foot down and make the 2.9 move.

it'll easier do 85... but soft coils, short wheelbase, sway bars disconnected usually... yeah....
