I have 3/4 tank of gas in my Bronco II that I need to get out, its 2 years old, the truck WILL run, but it STINKS! Is there an easy way to get the gas out? I tried to syphon it, but that didnt work and mine has no drain on the tank.

Thanks!
Chaz.

There is an easy way, I just did it to my 90.

Disconnect the inertia switch by the passenger's toes.

Disconnect the fuel filter, put the tank side hose into a bucket.

Use one of those jumper boxes and apply 12v to one of the pins on the inertia switch connector (I forget which color wire, try both - one of the two will make the pumps run) and of course the other jumper box lead connects to ground (I used the door latch post).

If you have no jumper box, just run a piece of wire straight from the battery+ terminal to the inertia switch plug pin.

Jumper boxes??? Can i just put a battery charger and put 12v to the in on the switch??

Someone said i cabn just undo the filter and turn the key and the pump will constatntly run becasue it cant create a vacuum.. that DOESNT work! LOL!

Chaz..
