How to build a Kayak.

Anyone done it?

I was thinking about looking into how to build a fiberglass kayak, nothing pretty just something ultra functional. You don't see many kayaks with cup holders, fishing pole holders, equipment holders, a basket, side paddle rack, and a rear fish live well.

Will has built a wooden kayak along with a bunch of other boats it looks like. He would probably be the go to guy for something like that

Well, I was looking more into something made entirely out of durable fiberglass. I've seen them built before, I just can't find any information on them.

Here's some examples.

Most of the ones online are stitch kits or the ones with the strips of wood you tack down.

I think the fiberglass ones need a mold to start with.. but I'm looking for more of a custom build than a mold kit.
