How to adjust torsion bars to factory levels

I have my torsion bars cranked nearly all the way up and I've decided to lower it back down to stock specs. How do I properly do this?

Just the opposite of how you cranked them.

I'm just looking for factory settings. Is yours at stock ride height? Are the torsion adjustment bolts flush with the frame? I seem to remember mine were either flush or maybe slighty protruding.
