How to access the clutch master cylinder

Hi folks, I have a 1999 Ranger 5 speed 4x4. I have a leak around the master cylinder but can not get a good look at it. So my question is--how do you access the clutch master cylinder? I have crawled all around under and over--do you have to remove the fender liner to access?

right below the brake booster. follow your clutch line from the trans up to it, or from the reservior down to it. has two bolts or nuts on the outside of it. u can unclip it from the pedal, unbolt from the firewall, and remove hose to inspect. if u suspect its leaking just look from under and if the hose is wet close to it, more then likely thats your problem. or a line leak

Yeah, removing the fender liner is the easiest way and is how the Ford manual says to do it. No nuts or bolts to remove it, just twist it 45 degrees counterclockwise to release it from the bracket.

Thanks for the replies. I went back out after I posted this and was able to get ready access after removing the fender liner. No nuts and bolts just had to twist it like mentioned. It was leaking on the inside of the cab--where the rod goes into the master cylinder.
