I wouldn’t let just anyone "port and polish" my heads, especially on an rbv. It’s much too easy to actually hinder the flow rather than help it. If you feel you must go this route, let a reputable shop do the work, such as Supersix or Morana. A regular machine shop should be able to do the others at a reasonable rate. Just don’t go too much on the mill, as it not only raises compression making the engine more vulnerable to detonation, but also makes the heads more vulnerable to cracking due to less material.
