does the center link have?

This is part of my other post and I don't think I explained it very well...the pitman arm on the manual box has about a 1" drop from the current power steering box that I want to remove and I don't want to put outward pressure on the tie rods by forcing the center link down with the lower pitman arm...

I'm sure it can be adjusted but that probably means taking it to a shop for an alignment...

If the center link has some leeway I might be able to do the manual box swap without too much effort/expense...ideally!

OK...I did the unthinkable and actually searched Google...my answer came from...surprise, surprise...TRS...2010...even though I actually searched this site and found nothing...

Is it just me...or did the TRS search engine fail?

I've found the best way to search this site is to use the " google custom search " box at the top of the page.

Yes, thanks, I usually use that on the entire page...but when in a section I try to narrow it down with the other search function...I did get plenty of hits and tried to read through 3 or 4 pages of posts...but I didn't use any quotes or key words...or not very effectively.
