Im looking at buying a 91 4.0 v6 auto x cab ranger and I would like to stuff 33x10.50s or 11.50 wide. What is the minimal amount of lift to run a 33? Can you get away with a 2in and do some trimming? I just want to keep it as low as possible yet still get that tire. Even if I have to do some cutting.

I read that already. Good info. But I wanted to see if someone out there has done it and if so what they had to do. Pics would also be great.

I've got a 3 inch BL and 33s and I wish the guys before me had not cut the fenders because I think it would clear with no problem.

I am pretty sure you will need wheels with a offset that pushes the tires out farther. My 89 STX with 10.5x31" tires and stock wheel would get a light rub at full turn. It was not on the fenders. I can't remember exactly what rubbed but it was on the inside, possibly the frame. 33" tires would have rubbed big time.
