I need to know as to how much refrigerant should I add to my a/c system?
I will be replacing just about all the a/c parts with the exception of line/hose.
all the parts; compressor, accumulator, orifice tube, evaporator, and condenser are all new. I do know that I would have to flush out the line/hose, add the correct amount of PAG 46 oil to the compressor and accumulator, do deep vaccum after installation, but I am not exactly sure as how much refrigerant should I charge to the system, is it 1lb 7lb? (r134a sys).
I was also told by my friends that I have to add oil to the condenser:icon_confused: if this is true I need help as to how this is done.
With all this new parts I want to do everything correctly, as I do not want to damage the parts where I would have to start all over again. TRS community please guide me
Thanks

Put 4-5oz. oil into the compressor, the rest can go in the accumulator.

Required amount of refrigerant should be listed on the top or side of the A/C evaporator housing under the hood.

AllData says capacity is 1.38 LBS refrigerant and 7oz. oil:icon_thumby:
