I was just curious as to how much water coming out the exhaust pipe is too much? I know an excessive amount of water is a good indicator of bad ju ju.
I had a Flow 40 installed about 3 months ago, and it dumps right before the rear passenger tire, so there isn't all that much pipe. Anyway I've noticed that there's some water coming out, and although I feel its more then it should be, I don't know enough about it to make the call.
I took 2 pictures, one was as it was running, and the other is after it idled for about 6 minutes.
Input?

wouldn't worry about if your not losing any water out of the radiator

Thats the amount that comes out of mine usually. Sometimes is just builds up and then gets pushed out.

That is fine. Water or steam out the tail pipe is not the harbinger of doom it was in pre-75 cars.

Water is a natural and intended byproduct of the reaction that takes place in the cats and so you can have quite a bit of water (really it is endless) and it will still be normal.

You don't want to see continuous steam when the temps outside are above 50 or so or have it smell sugary.

You'll see more condensation out the tail pipe, when you don't have a factory muffler.

The oem muffler, and quality aftermarket replacements, have a drain at the back that drips underneath, of which nobody notices. Your 40 is fully welded and sealed, so it will collect condensation that'll be blown out the tailpipe upon start-up.

No worries, I have to explain the same thing to over half of my customers that get performance or cheap replacement mufflers.

If I parked my truck facing down hill then let it idle a while and got into it up hill it looked like a couple gallons blew out. Just the cat forming H20, supposedly you can drink it but ill pass.
