Hey guys, so I had to drop a load of stuff off at the dump, and in the process got to see what my rig weighed. I had just filled the tank full of gas, and if you subtract my weight it comes to.....

4200 lbs

what does your truck weigh in at?

3179 Lbs :icon_thumby:

3900 at the dump...and its a short cab short bed

Mines not a truck, it's a BII, but I was surprized to see that it weighs 4400lbs now, dang heavy if you ask me.

I weighed my B2 with the original motor and no winch it was 3480.What was interesting was there was only 20 lbs between the front and the back axle.Interesting that Bones modes added 1000 lbs.

My '97 reg cab flareside, with me and a full tank of gas, is 1570 kg, or 3454 pounds. That's verified between two different scales. I weight 175 pounds so just the truck is 3279 pounds.

While I have been able to "verify" the weight between two different scales I only take it with a grain of salt - these are scales that are designed to be "accurate" at a much higher weight than a a light truck, like 10 times more! I can only imagine that they'd only be accurate to within 50 pounds, at best, at any weight. YMMV of course.

Wow, Copycats weighs that much too.

When I stopped on the scale mine weighed 2040KGs, converted that is 4497lbs with me and my trail gear in it and a half tank of fuel. I bet the 38's on steel wheels are at least 5-600lbs alone, then a hundred lbs winch, and the added weight of the d44, all the tubing.....

It certainly adds up quickly, doesn't it?

2.3L, 2wd, 5 spd. Std cab, short bed = 3020 with me in it and 3/4 tank of gas.

So I figure 2,850 lbs-ish without me in it. Though mine is bone stock and one of the smallest/lightest combo's you can get.
