How much do you think I could get for my ranger? I need at least 5,000.

I have a 2001 Ford Ranger XLT with 228K. Runs amazing, no problems. Has a few dings and scratches, but looks good.

2wd, 3.0 V6, Cruise Control, Automatic, extended cab, matching tool box, jump seats, Pioneer deck with AUX input, XM Satellite radio, custom tail lamps, black corners, great tires, fresh oil change, VERY WELL TAKEN CAR OF, new starter.

I have all papers since I've had it, Aug 2008.

it is nice, i would probably pay 5000 for it but i dont have even 5 dollars to my name right now....damn

It looks like it Blue Books at around 5,000, but I can imagine most people will be scared off from the mileage.

milage schmilage, a ranger will last forever if taken care of properly. as long as its had proper maintenance it is worth 5000.

Yeah, I was scared when I got it last year a 205K.

But, its been SO amazing. Only thing was a starter.

OH, I forgot. It has a WA REBUILT title, it was rear ended, but hardly.

New bed now tho.

Rebuilt titles throw everything out of wack. If the mileage doesn't scare someone off (which if they know Rangers, they know that's a minor thing), the rebuilt title usually does.

Why do you need to sell it anyway?

Haha. I know I'm probably going to get a hard time for this one, but this girl from my church is selling my dream car, a 1998 Beetle, in WHITE! I've wanted a white beetle since forever.

shes asking like 4750 for it, has about 112K, and its super clean.

I know, selling a ranger for a beetle? *don't shot*

Don't make me drive up to washington and bitchslap you...

Your truck is clean though, runs better than mine with almost twice the miles...

Offer her to trade man.

And then bring the beetle to the next meet :icon_rofl:

She can't trade, she is selling her beetle for money, so she can go on a missions trip.

Lol, bringing a beetle to a ranger meet, you know I would too.

Toss it up on CL for 5k and see what happens. Who knows, someone may want it. Doesn't hurt to feel it out.

Yeah, thats a good idea.
I'll probably do that.

But, once you've had a truck, it's kinda hard to imagine life without one. Idk, it's kinda nice not having to ask people to help you with stuff.

$5000 is a stretch. On a quick search on autotrader.com I came up with 22 2000-2002 Ford Rangers with an Automatic and a V6 with cruise control and CD player. all under $5000 and most under 200,000 miles and most were super cabs.

the cheapest one was $2999 and it had 207,XXX miles
