Today i was driving around my pasture and i went down a hill and as soon as it starts to go down their is a little bump. So i went back about 200 yards and floored it and i got some air. All 4 tires got of the ground and i was in the air for about a second. Landing was a little rough but not bad. I want to know how much can a stock suspension take. The truck is a 2002 ford ranger 4 door 4.0l 4x4, front end is a torsion bar suspension, rear end is regualr leaf spring.
Thanks

Oh and idk if it matters but the tires are michelin atx all terrain.

like i posted in another forum, the answer is another question:

how big is your checkbook?

something will break sooner or later and jumping like that means it will probably be sooner... much sooner.
it's not so much what you drive, but how you drive that makes the difference. as it's your dd according to your info, i think i'd go easier on it till you get it built up some.
but that's just me.

probably can't take much, that was never a specific design specification considered by Ford. If you want to jump a truck where that was considered go buy a Ford Raptor.

I'd consider some upgrades before jumping too much.
