hey guys im trying to decide ont he best way to lower my ranger i want to lower it as much as i can and i already plan on notching the frame or reconstructing it for clearence, if i flip my shackles and flip my axle, so my axle is above my leafs how much will that drop int he rear, i have a 97 2wd reg cab ranger 3.0

thanks !

haha, the question shuldnt be how low can my ranger go it should be how much are you willing to spend in time/money/fabrication to get it to where you want it. I believe the axle over spring will get you around 3in. and the shackle flip depends on how long of a shackle you put on it after the flip so with stock shackles atleast another 3. check out what people have done around here there are alot of trucks with the same suspension that are lowered the same way you are talking about. search it in the lowrider section
