My park brake doesnt work on my 89 BII. So I am going to get every part for it that I can get, I want all the cables and whatever else I may need. I never replaced a park brake before (my first RBV that i am getting road legal) so I need some help on what to buy. These parts are what i came up with so far.

front brake cable

left rear brake cable

right rear brake cable

Is that all the cables I need?
thanks

I gotta replace mine and have been getting my parts list together from LMC Truck's website. They have a awesome free B2 catalog.

wow their prices smack the face off broncograveyards prices. thanks!

Before you go replacing parts willy nilly, take the drums off and set the brake. See if the cable ends move. They may just be out of adjustment.

Dont hit the brake pedal with the drums off though.

Agreed, there's no reason whatsoever to plan out replacing parts before you've properly diagnosed the problem.

I dont care if they only need adjusting, they look nasty and rusty so I am going to replace them

Mine looks like it's been ghetto rigged and I hate leaving my vehicle in gear as my "parking brake" How hard is it to adjust it properly. Anybody have a pic of their setup under the driver's side door that uses their parking brake with it working properly? I need a pic of how it's supposed to look. One look at mine and I can tell something isn't right.
