I'm only aware of a few vehicles that have ever hit that mark and all of them were Volvos.

my ranger is at 185k with stock 3.0 and tranny and a rebuild rearend.....my wify's jeep is at 290k stock everything

My ranger clipped past 170k when I sold it for what I paid.

My next door neighbor has a 96' exploder that went past 230k last week and that thing is spotless! Runs, drives and looks about new with no major overhauls. A couple weeks ago I helped him replace the rear brakes and a wheel stud and he said that was about as extensive as it got. I want it BAD.

When I worked as a mechanic we had a couple from ontario with property here in NC that drove a 2000 something honda accord. Last time I worked on it it had 550,000 miles and according to them they never did anything but routine maintenance.

damn, thats a lot of miles, what makes the engines in honda accords last longer than a ranger?

No clue, good friend of mine has an accord around the same year that his wife drove forever and he's now driving to save gas and it's had the piss driven out of it on the rough ass roads in the mtn's and when I was there last weekend it had 270k on it. Those are the only 2 examples I know of but it's still impressive. On the other hand know of plenty of lima's with over 300k on the clock including my first one that I sold at age 16 and I saw it just last week when I went home at the factory where the old fella I sold it to works. It had nearly 300k when I sold it and that was over 10 years ago.
