How many miles on your 4.0?

Just turned over 1700...:D

I figure with the conditions I drive in and the rate I put miles on, the body will probably rot out somewhere around 200k or so. I'll probably have to put one clutch in it, but other than that I expect the drivetrain to perform more or less flawlessly for that time.

94 4.0 xlt 5 speed 4 wheel drive 250,000+ mi. i have replaced many exhausts systems and brakes, due to the salt and hills. still can't get cruise control working...

when i traded my '90 model off it had 180,000 and ran like a scalded dog.

1994 supercab auto 4x4 4.0L w/ 108,000 miles

I've got 205,XXX on mine. I lose a quart of oil every 2500-2700 miles. Don't know where it goes? It doesn't smoke and don't have a puddle under it? It is starting to clatter a little, first start-up on these cold Michigan mornings. But all in all very happy with it.

Its being burned in the cylinders and that clattering is the lifters tapping the pushrods. Worn out parts.

2000 4.0, bought in August '09 with 50,000 on it. thats it. for $9,000 and i got about $300 of free parts. deal of the century.

104K Original on my 93 Limited. I think that's right anyway, it's 168,000 Km's.

107,000 miles on my SOHC and it runs great.

Mine has 357,000kms on it so far still strong nut has started to get a lifter tick over the last season of wheeling.

Update: 2006 Ranger 4.0 SOHC now has 25k miles, 1994 Explorer 4.0 OHV now has 150k miles.
