How many miles on your 3.0 ?

91k on my 99 xlt supercab. bought it 3 months ago with 85k. havent had to do any major repairs except shocks front and rear.

126k on my 99, but yesterday the silly bastard decided it wanted to roll around at 65 on the highway...:bawling: my guess is ball joint went out, took a HARD left, rolled twice, landed on side, climbed out without a scratch, pushed it onto wheels, and the 3.0 fired right up.

177k on a 97. Replaced one cam syncro in the time I've had it, not sure about the previous owner. Other than that the thing is bulletproof haha :icon_hornsup:

196,000 no problem except fixing what the tweaker owner did to it before me
3rd trans(past owner bent flex plate)
3rd rearend(now needs new housing thanks to a spun bearing)
2nd front end; axle middle section, both cv's, manual locking hubs.(auto hubs gave old owner a hard time, so in true tweaker fashion he took it out)
third set of wheels( first ones got stolen and ended up with the truck on blocks and the second set were all different sizes, now it has a nice set of 16 with some 265/75/16s wrapped around them:headbang:,close but no rubs:yahoo:)
i hate tweakers:annoyed:
they have weird ways of fixing things

my 06 was great at 80,000km but was unfortunitly written off. some ricer douche in his civic cut me off and locked up his brakes for no reason. i assume he needed the insurance money. who knows. either way i hit the brakes but was doing 90km and and had no time to stop. was in left lane (2 lanes north and south) tried to cut into right lane, avoided the ricer douche but passenger tire cought the ditch and pulled me in. (ditches on this road are deadly) i was doing 50km when i went into the ditch, rolled once and landed on the roof. i crawled out without a mark on me. (back hurt pretty good for next few days) the road sign i took out is what saved my life. it was mounted on a big 6x6 wood pole. it stopped me from rollig 5-6 times into a farmers field. so much for my perfect driving record. anyway i got a 2007 ranger 3.0l 5spd. it had 67,000km when i got it a month ago, now has 70,500km. running great. i drive alot.

i feel your pain. when i went to get my stuff out of the truck at the wreckers, i reconnected the batterie and she fired right up. put her in reverse and she reversed just fine. went into 1st and she drove just fine.
as far as i could tell there was no frame damage. they towed it from the
rear as i followed them to the wreckers. the front end was fine. the roof is what wrote the truck off. rear window was gone piller was caved in and every body pannle was pushed in. it sucks, i know there was another 20yrs and 1million km of life left in her.

thats when you cut the roof off and wheel it:headbang:

94 with 240,000.replaced iac,2 pulleys,a thermostat,and still running strong no smoke

My 97 3.0 5spd 4x4 has 153,235 as of today. I bought it 3 years ago with 103K on it. Had to put a clutch in when I got it. And had to change oil pump @ 111K otherwise nothing else has been touched. It has never been driven easy since day 1.

Update: it turned 163K this week. I just swapped in an explorer posi 8.8 & coil spacers but the 3.0 is still untouched.

118,000 on my '00 XLT 3.0 FFV 4x4. Replaced IAC, all front end ball joints, valve body in trans at 94K, DPFE sensor, oil sending unit, fan clutch, water pump, belt tensioner, alternator, front brakes twice, rear break once, pinion seal, torque converter seal, and rear shocks.

99 ford Ranger xlt stepside 5spd Mileage - 59,000 just rolled over it. for a 11 year old she aint that bad.

Only done 3 oil changes so far. havent had her for a long time but i love her to death! =)
