How many miles on your 3.0 ?

had 500k on mine when it finally went with a 100 shot of nitrous.. did a new cam, lifters and rebuilt injectors at 450k. thats the major part.

1999 160,000 just got 2 new heads put on. nothing else done to it. Runs like a top.

1999 118,000 new heads, seems like a common problem.....

95,000 on the 3.0 in the wife's Taurus. It's almost broken in. :D
Still runs like new, clean as new in, out, and under.

98 ext cab xlt 3.0 auto. It has 217,000 miles. All I have replaced beyond maintenance items is 4 balljoints at 200,000 and the belt tension. I couldn't be happer with my truck. It has been everywhere and never let me down.

PS: I even tow with it....

I have a "99" and It haa 220,000 currently and it's still going strong! Let me tell ya, I haven't exactly been easy on her and she still jumps just like the first time I wheeled her!

2wd 94 shortbox regular cab 5spd with 190k. motor, solid as a rock. rest of the truck not so good. it has a broken leaf spring, a cracked wind shield, just replaced the ring and pinion, trans has developed a wine, needs new rotors, needs new shoes, clutch is goin, muffler's gone. not to mention the various body damage. i had one good panel but then my friend backed into it. surprisingly, very little rust considering the lack of attention it has been given and being driven in michigan. would like 4wd and better suspension. that things floaty as heck. needs alotta work. anyone ever convert to 4wd or put a 289 in a ranger?
broken2wd...your's is exactly like mine here in flint, mi...only i have 20k more miles...
was underneath it last night....upper and lower balljoints shot on both sides, shocks and springs shot on both sides, both rear shocks gone, and the rear springs (1 per side??? stinks!!!)?
i like to put a little weight in the back for the snow, but if i put more than 100# in the back i pull a wheelie...yup she floats everywhere..
i'm gonna put a little $$ into it this spring and make it a little safer...

201,000 on my '98 3.0 5 speed

replaced: transfer case, rear end, 3 alternators, clutch slave & mast. cyl.s

this truck has hardly been turned off sense i got it with 40,000 miles. it works hard monday-friday. hits the rev limiter a couple of times a week, i have road rage. i've even got lucky in it a time or 2 on the weekends.

i bought mine after a buddy of mine rebuilt the body after a wreck about 3 months ago and its running stronger at 160k than my old silverado was at about the same

my 93's got 130,000 as of now, bought it june 06 with 109k on the puppy

1996 Ranger with 199,600....purchased recently...starts good...runs good...its a Splash...
3.0...

I haven't the foggiest clue as to how many miles are on either of mine. I just know that the engineer who designed them had no idea what I would do to them. Yet, They still run. Pure miracle!

191,000

i just turned over 191,000 on my 93 and it goes through about a quart of oil every 250 miles. Doesn't leave a drop on the ground and doesn't smoke at all. I guess it could be more than that though. The guy that had it before me said the odometer had only turned over once but he wasn't the original owner. Still runs fine though. Except it is a turd
