how many fords is to many

ford didn't make boats, but alot of boats with OMC stern drives had ford engines, they used the 460, 302 and 2.3l. there were even a couple of mercruisers with fords too. i used to be a marine mechanic and would ocassonally see one.

Do you really want to do that to yourself? :fie:
I'm talking like a 1220 or 1320, something that would class as a CUT. Don't need anything really big, just want a live PTO, be able to run a brush hog, sickle bar mower, backhoe. Prolly throw a bucket on the front.

Own 9 Fords well a couple of them are Mecurys. None newer than 88
Ford also used their inline 6s in boats.
They also produced a 3 wheel "Bike" using the Focus drive train

That is just a big lawn mower...

How big of a shredder/sickle mower can they handle?

Really once you get onto it live power isn't that big of a whoo hoo. It would be nice for a loader but for mowing/blading/moving dirt I get a long just fine without it (kick out the PTO if need to stop in a hurry with the mower though)

We've got 5

lol, yea, pretty much just an overgrown lawn mower.

No idea how big of a sickle bar they can handle. I only need about a 5' bar to trim the banks I have though. I'd rather run along them on the tractor than try to weedeat it all. And it would be nice to have a post hole auger and a rototiller for it. Basically I want to start getting my own power equipment to allow me to complete my usual tasks faster so I can spend more time on other projects.
