I Need to get my truck over there to putthe bed on that but she dont work, any comments?

or that..But with who?
my brother wont be able to, nobody else is around whereas i live in the middle of nowhere

sorry never pulled 1 from a ranger yet, and been awhile know(2 years)since i had 1, and my Bronco II doesn't have a bed LOL, so cant use it as reference, jsut something i remember and thought other trucks used it(been about 2 1/2 years since i had the Dakota, sold it)

No problem, if I wouldn't have pulled the bed off a Ranger already, I wouldn't have the answer either.:icon_thumby:

Guys, Im not saying that im capable as i will ever be, I jus took what MAKG said the wrong way, I thought he was sayin im not capable at all, Jus a silly misunderstanding,
I know im still learning, Didnt you read all my posts?
that why im constantly asking questions and i think its getting on peoples nerves that i ask so much cuz im always at it :P,
I bet that theres some people that open up a thread and see that its by me and close it again Lol,

Jeff

Just another bit of advice... since I have seen some threads were by you and then didn't bother to open it. Usually when I do that it's because I don't have the time to sit there and read through three pages of replies by you... I'm sure by just combining your posts instead of making several individual posts in a row would go a long way to smoothing things over with the rest of the people on here. You can do multiple quotes and you can edit your posts if you forgot something. Now and then to have a post or two in a row is fine, but it seems like you just like to see how many posts you can get in a row sometimes.:icon_bounceblue:

On level ground you may be able to open the drivers door and push on the A-frame, and have access to the wheel and the shifter. Unfortunately, if it's not really flat, the truck may decide to start rolling on it's own and that can be a bad situation since you obviously do not want to be run over by the truck, and I'm sure you'd prefer that it didn't roll into something.

ya it would be nice if it didnt roll,
before the truck was tere she was about 100ft back, and i towed it out with dads F250 myself, and i was really worried about it rolling cause she was headed right for my brothers stang as you can barely see in one pic, also my truck couldve rolled into the back of dads,
But i just but peices of 5x5 a certain ways forward in front a tire so it would stop, then reapeat that untill i could do it nomore since jeremys stang was there,(my brothers) and he takes his keys cuz he caught me driving it a few times when he wasnt home :D

Jeff

What you need to do is jack the truck up with a high-lift, drive the F250's rear bumper under the B's front bumper, and let the jack down. Then rope the bumpers together and drive!

No, don't do that. About the only SAFE way to tow another vehicle without another person present is to use a tow bar or car dolly. Don't be pullin cars around with a tow rope that way, seriously, you're gonna wreck one or get hurt.

Haha yea i know, sorry guys, apoligize, espically to MAKG, pm sent to makg

Yup, got it.

Yes, you're right; I'm not always encouraging. I've worked with some nasty stuff before (mainly extremely high voltage and more recently flight planning for an exotic "heavy" aircraft) and it means understanding how everything will happen before executing it.

That you would consider doing this yourself is admirable, especially at your age. That you would do it alone is a bit problematic. You need an assistant with good judgment, or at least someone nearby.

As for the drinking, you're FAR too young to understand the consequences of that. And you DO have a problem if you're getting sloshed with any regularity at all. It doesn't have to be beer for breakfast....

As for Internet fights, language always gets a bit more heated than it ever would in person, and there isn't anyone on this board whose hand I wouldn't shake given the proximity to do so.

i've missed something here, 1: how come truck don't work? 2:any chance of using dads truck to drag ramp to truck then manuever it in place using bar and lever?of course looking at those trees in the background gave me an idea too, if you had two close enough together run a beam between like a 4X4 or a 4X6, you could put your truck between trees and once the bolts are out and everthing diconnected you could run strap or some such corner to corner or even under bed and pick it with a come-a-long. not sure just a thought.

I Know what you mean, I just took what you said earlier the wrong way, thats all..
And i rarley ever drink, like i said before...

Well Today i was out at the bed removal, and not one single bolt on that whole truck will budge, she really is a rust bucket, im goin out of town for a few hours so i will post the pics when im back,

BUT, THERE IS ONE GOOD THING, (i think..)
my truck will actually atempt to move, in 1st gear, 4LO it will move a wee bit,
heres a vid:

To reply to gotmudd, my truck wont budge, i had it stuck, was spinning, and then i guess the clutch went, i can floor it in any gear and she will only be like as if its in neutral, untill what i found out today (what i just said in the above post)

as you can see at the end of the video wen i poped the hood, she started smoking like a jew

ok, just went out and tried it again, drove the truck about 50 feet, but it only works in 4LO, alomst 4HI, but cant do it in HI

post whore!,, (sorry!)

If they're that rusty, I wouldn't even mess...grab the grinder and grind 'em off, or use an air chisel.
