How Far Will Gas Prices Fall?

They did say that oil might tickle 50 dollars, but more importantly is that some refineries are coming back online after routine maintenance. I'm still waiting for the mysterious refinery fire to crop up.

To me, I always though low gas prices was the solution to the economy. When you have them really low, people don't have to spend as much and have extra money in their pocket. It also costs companies less in gas for shipping products and or services allowing them to lower their prices. It would also encourage people to go out more and spend more money. But I guess now it really doesn't work out so much because everything is just getting more and more expensive.

Lowest I've been able to get here in Hoosierland is $2.81/gal, and right now it's up a few cents from that. Fingers crossed that it'll keep falling, though.

When I topped off Thursday afternoon Regular Unleaded was $2.59 a gallon in Bonham.
