Can someone explain the principle of vacuum hubs? Is it connected through the engine vacuum system or does the torque on the front wheels have something to do with engaging it?
Reason I ask is my 4.0 has a bad MAF(1993) I believe that kinda problem, running rich affects the engine vacuum, Since Im stuck with one manual hub and one auto I'd like not to ruin the good manual hub because a lack of vacuum on the other is causing me to pull three wheel drive.
