Just wondering if anyone has had trouble with the fuel pump or serpentine belt tensioner? At 63,000 clicks on my 05 4.0l, my fuel pump bit the dust. Bought the truck two months ago, thanks for nothing power-train warranty! (Bought from dealer) Get it home, drive downtown and back the next day, and start hearing clicking coming from what I thought was the tranny!!! :icon_surprised: thank god i poked my head under the hood and saw it to be the tensioner. (And when buying a used car with a warranty, if a dealer ever tells you something isn't under warranty, ask him to list off everything covered by that warranty, it saved me 100 bucks in this case)
So the main point to this rant is, have any of you had either of these parts go at such low kilometers? yes KM's not Miles. Thanks for any input,
cheers :icon_cheers:

ouch 63,000 clicks that sucks man I just bought a 09 ranger sport 4x4 4.0l last year and im still breaking her in im sitting at 11,000 clicks on it now and i bought her in may of last year but thats somthing ill be keeping my eye on when i reach the 60,000 range. I bought the extended warrenty package and i should really look into what else is really covered other then the motor and trans and drive gear.
