Just wondering if anyone has had trouble with the fuel pump or serpentine belt tensioner? At 63,000 clicks on my 05 4.0l, my fuel pump bit the dust. Bought the truck two months ago, thanks for nothing power-train warranty! (Bought from dealer) Get it home, drive downtown and back the next day, and start hearing clicking coming from what I thought was the tranny!!!
thank god i poked my head under the hood and saw it to be the tensioner. (And when buying a used car with a warranty, if a dealer ever tells you something isn't under warranty, ask him to list off everything covered by that warranty, it saved me 100 bucks in this case)
So the main point to this rant is, have any of you had either of these parts go at such low kilometers? yes KM's not Miles. Thanks for any input,
