Trying to clean up the wiring under the hood and I don't want 6 wires coming off each battery terminal. How do you guys wire in stuff like lights, winches, radios, etc.? Do you use a terminal block or the power distribution box or what? I'm kind of a noob when it comes to electrical issues.

I've seen these used. This is what I'll be doing if i rewire my truck

I'd get those just for the labels on 'em

i've used those lots...they're from blue sea systems, marine application obviously.they work great for trucks.

the marine stuff is usually a bit more expensive than regular automotive, but is way more durable.blue sea has a very large variety of stuff.

Yeah. I much prefer the marine grade parts.

I would put those right on top of the center console just to make a passenger wonder why you have a depth sounder lol.

Its so you can determine how deep the mudd hole is while your over it, or for prerunners to see how high you jump. :icon_thumby:

I put all of mine off the battery terminal but i have been looking for something like this so I could just have a nice big cable going to it and hide it.

Something like this.

they come with a big sheet of labels....you stick on what you need.

i should label all the shifters on the ranger with those when i get it done....like it isn't confusing enough to people:icon_rofl:

'hey, what's this lever labled "trim tabs" do?':icon_confused:

your truck might actually need the depth sounder though lol

I use an amp wire to a distribution block so there's only one wire going in the cab but that thing would be way better

Same concept but that box is labeled. run 1 main wire to it and then run everything else wherever you need to from there
