My green lilly is like a dirty sl**, she likes to be driven hard and rough. High rpms and mud. Lots of mud. Dirt roads, ice roads, you name Alaska has it. She hates being clean, dirty is the only way to go. :thefinger:

Having dried mud fall in my face for a month and a half while I was doing my V8 swap kind of ruined my opinion of recreational mudding... and my truck is too well known to tear it up on mud roads without angry farmers knowing who it is and where they work anymore.

They are also not so resistant to just call the sheriff either if somebody is screwing around and has no reason to be on said road and they don't know who it is.

Not too many offerering up their $5k-10k acre farmground for wheeling either...

Up here the popular place is kinik glacier, big open half empty river bed at the face of a glacier and a hell of a lot of mud! And no one to complain. Not like anyone complains here in AK anyways.

I drive like I have a 5.0 but I have a 3.sl0w.

2.0l So it gets rode HARD, but it looks like I'm trying to keep up with traffic. I drive my vehicles to there limits and do my best not to push them over it, but hard enough to have fun

I drive it like a car. I bang gears every chance I get, and if I happen to chirp tires, then that's okay with me.

I drive like a grandma!!! My gas mileage likes that but sometimes I'll drive like i stole the truck.

it depends on many things, i drive with a sense of urgency to work as safe and few stops as possible. it also depends on conditions out, if it rains i slow and ease in to turns. if it is dry, not so much is needed.

having done 2 transmission jobs in 2 years. 1 in my ranger and 1 in my b2 before i got it going i am as easy on the shifter and clutch as possible

How do you drive?

Like an animal!

My 1st Ranger ('89 STX) went through 2 clutches, 5 transmissions (fm-146), 2 T-cases, 3 pairs of tires, 2 rears, 2 driveshafts, folded both radius arms in half, and 1 headlight bulb. I owned it for 10 years, that was the first year. :icon_rofl:

Like a responsible adult. Follow the traffic laws and the "Tread Lightly" and "Stay the Trail", when off road. No sense in giving the tree huggers any ammunition to use against us(wheeling folk). If its a designated spot for mudding/tearing it up, by all means go for it, otherwise, watch your P's and Q's, cause people are trying to stop us(I also go to a lot of BLM road closure/LUR meetings to support our cause).

So...................how about focusing all that attitude into transporting the new TRS Banner thru some/all of Alaska...Jim Oaks is looking for volunteers...

I treat my truck like a bulldozer...... That being said my arb bumper needs replaced lol.

Since her and Lilly both have been in my shop I can say she is not kidding, nothing like a cute little rowdy redhead in a truck with a manual transmission.:headbang:

Oh and DG, working on the banner thing already.

I drive like a grandma. I put too much work into my baby to ruin it. Now, if I break it on a trail, that's a different story
