I know there must be some easy way to get water out of a tire?

I had a set of 4 sitting behind the garage enclosed in a huge plastic bag. I have no idea how, but they are full of water... I am selling them tomorrow, how the heck do I get this water out of here?

Thanks!

pick them up and drop them on the ground and just keep picking them up and flipping .. then take a old towel to the rest

is this part of the ranger quiz?lol

let them freeze and drop it on the ground. the ice will break into a few big chunks that you can easily pick up out of the tire....

cut a small circle in the bottom and let em drain or trey the drop and kick method works pretty good as well:stirthepot:

Hrm, Too bad today everything is now thawing. I had no idea there was water in there, or I would have got them out sooner. I think I will drill a small hole in each one, let it drain, and then fill the hole with silicone. Should I use latex or silicone based sealer.

I am off to dry my tires.....

I use a tube and syphon it out.

Yum yum.

Come on, I am not that big of an idiot.

I ended up using the 110V water pump I use to winterize the camper. It sucked most of it out, and then I used a spray paint can cap to get the rest. I took out over 3 gallons on 4 tires.

The pump made quick work of it, now why I didn't think of it before I posted this... I have no clue!

Thanks as always for the advice.

P.S. I hope the silicone dries before he gets here tomorrow.:thefinger:

i didnt think so but i had to laugh! :taunt:

I've used the pick-n-flip method a number of times... but I hate the splash-back you get sometimes....

I've wondered about leaving it in there and adding some Calcium Chloride like they do with tractor tires...lol

I'm surprised none of you pyromaniacs suggested dropping numerous M-80's in there until it got blown out...
