Can I make it work, and what will I need from the 92 to put into the 96? Thanks

Anyone have any clues on this one or should I not waste my time on such a project.

The '92 is OBDI and the '96 is OBDII. You'd need the pcm and harness from the '92.

A lot more than that, sensors are different, not as many, bracketry is different,96 alternator bracket won't bolt on well,92 bolt holes are different in head.It will be a little better if you use the 96 head and intake.Biggest deal is drilling the front of the motor to use the 96 crank sensor.
