I'd like to know what my 97 ranger 2wd would look like with a 4inch suspention lift and 35's on 20 inch rims and if they would fit??

:nono: 20" rims.......

y r u putting so much lift and big tires on a 2wd? i would set it up for street. put a 5.0 in it and lock the rear end. u wouldnt have much fun in a big lifted truck thats gonna get stuck everywhere u try to go bc its a 2wd. seen it too many times. better keep a chain with u lol

You wont fit the 35s with only a 4in lift plus your axles wouldnt hold up, and 20's are frickin gay and I dont think they make them in 5 on 4.5

plenty of manufactors make 20" rims for the ranger 5x4.5 bolt pattern. For example KMC Rockstars.

Your axle would hold up fine.

And its easy to make a 2wd fit 35's. My 99 had 3" coils and 3" body lift and i ran 35's just fine. Now that its straight axled its got a little bit more lift than that now lol.

Goodluck with your project and dont let everyone discourage you on your project.

Yuor axle would be ok, just be sure to gear the diff to the new size of the wheels and tires and reprogram the cpu. 35's wont fit under only 4 inches, and personally on a 2wd i would go for 31s at most, but seriously reconsider the 20"s. They look stupid on rangers.

yeah 20's wouldnt look good on a ranger. the way i feel about rangers r in three categories. A: 2wd, daily drivers r good on gas, my moms 2.3l 5 speed will get 500 miles on a full tank of gas NO LIE. B: 4x4 get it lifted and good tires and go have some fun in the mud, or whatever floats ur boat. and C: 2wd, v8 set up for drag. none of these categories fall with 20 inch rims. hahaha. sorry but unless ur ranger is lifted so high that u got some 48" swampers then 20 inch rims r a no no.
