I have a 2001 IFS 2wd ranger. orginally had a rear flip kit and the SLP thunderbolt front springs. So the rear was way lower. I made the mistake of cutting down the front coils. Started with one coil and only got 3/4 inch lowered. Then did 3/4 of a coil off. end ended up lowering it a hair to much.

So now the main problem is way to much negative camber when the front control arm is adjusted all the way out.

So are the DJM upper control arms longer than stock?

I just dont want to buy all new control arms and springs. Truck is a only a DD. Ride quality... well i dont mind much since i drover it for a year sitting on the bump stops.

Lets see what info you guys have in this problem.

Thanks. Kyle

Imade the SAME mistake on my '89 I-beam Ranger.....I ended up putting adjustable air shocks on the front end instead of gas shocks....

the alignment shop adjusted the front suspension for 45 psi in each shock...now the suspension is aligned AND the front end is at the height that I want it to be....

the front end still bottoms out in potholes....

so....I'm going to get drop beams & stock coil springs to get the smooth ride back.....

DJM uppers are longer to correct camber issues, but you'll still need caber eccentrics. Lower arms provide the drop.
