Hey guys. Since i've bought my truck, i've had a symptom where my horn doesn't work every now and then. I took the steering wheels front apart (2 8mm - 5/16 bolts hold it on) and everything is snug and it looks the way it should. Underneath the steering wheel, every wire is connected. yesterday was the first time i've taken the steering wheel apart.

Where is the horn located, anyways? why is it only working every now and then?

Probably a bad electrical connection on the horn it's self. It's under the hood on the core support. Looks like a black nautilus.

where is the core support? Is the horn on the right side of the radiator, down below the battery? What should be connected to that thing? I think i know where it is

The core support is the piece of metal behind your grill and supports the radiator.

where should those wires connect?

hey buddy my truck is just like yours and my horn does not work ether if you could pm me or something on the fix you used i would greatly appreciate it thanks

I'll post some pictures tomorrow - maybe someone who knows what theyre talking about will tell me if i found it, and if its hooked up right or not, and if it isnt, how to fix it.

I'm trying to help. I'm not the one who can't find the horn.
The wires that go to it are probably corroded at the connection to the horn. Just find those and rewire them.

its on the drivers side down below the battery next to the radiator. there are 2 wires connected to it. both of mine were loose. that explains it :)

Very simple, very easy.
